Last week during the launch of her book, Price wore a sexy lingerie top with the word “Paradise” emblazoned across her rather generous breasts.

There has been a rather lot of brouhaha over the dress worn by Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr at her wedding to “Lord of the Rings” star Orlando Bloom. Besides having a lot of attention from possessing a great body and face (which is admired by men and women alike), the dress itself raised a lot of eyebrows.

The source revealed that four wedding gowns designed by Collette Dinnigan were flown from Sydney to the U.S. last week. All four dresses were said to have been worn by Kerr during the wedding and the reception that followed.

The couple has been together since 2006 and Kerr was seen sporting the engagement ring last month. The sudden announcement of the wedding left people wondering whether Kerr is pregnant but no one from the couple’s end has yet confirmed such rumours.

Film critics have no choice but to become fashion critics themselves as they watched the movie “Sex and the City 2” for reviews. The British press could not help but comment on the clothing worn by the film stars as two and a half hour long film was played.

New fashion trends have been seen at the recently concluded 82nd Annual Academy Awards.

The evening was certainly meant for women. This can be attributed to Kathryn Bigelow winning the Best Director and Best Picture honors for the low-budget film “The Hurt Locker.” Bigelow was the first woman to win the Best Director award in the event’s 82-year history.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is doing her part in helping disaster-stricken Haiti by conducting a fashion show for a cause.

According to reports, Campbell will spearhead a charity catwalk show which features top models and fashion designers at the New York Fashion Week.

Campbell has been an active figure when it comes to relief efforts. During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, she spearheaded a “Fashion for Relief” event at the Bryant Park. This time, the project will be back at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week which begins on February 12.

In an interview, the supermodel said that since a lot of people are doing their share in helping those who are in need in Haiti, she’s doing her part as well and she’ll be collaborating with top designers to make the event successful. The fashion show will showcase the latest designer fashion, lingerie, swimwear and accessories. The proceeds will go to relief efforts in Haiti.

Reliable sources have revealed that actress Lindsay Lohan will be expanding her fashion line despite the tough time she endured as the artistic advisor for a France-based fashion house.

The 23-year old actress stated through a social networking site that she’s going to create an entire line of clothes as well as accessories. The brand new line is scheduled for launching later this year. Lohan, known to have launched 6126 leggings collection two years ago, announced that the full collection of her 6126 line will be available soon.

Sources stated that there will be hundreds of items that will be up for sale and the prices of the items are reasonable and affordable to everyone.

Further expansion will be made in 2010 which would include a line of swimwear, cosmetics, handbags, jewelry and shoes.

Kristi Kaylor, an executive for 6126, said that there will be a new leggings line for release soon due to massive demand for these items.

Nickelodeon’s star SpongeBob Squarepants have been spotted making the rounds in the cities this year to spread some fashion tips for the New Year. According to the beloved cartoon character, the color that should be worn is Yellow.

Yellow is meant to be everywhere, Spongebob said, adding that blacks and grays should be avoided and go for more colorful designs for this season and the next. He reasoned that having these colors eliminates the usual gloomy days and adds sunshine into anyone’s wardrobes.

For young boys and girls, the best combination is having something yellow either on the top or the sneakers. Yellow bags are great to look at this season, he said.

To further accentuate the campaign for the color yellow, Spongebob said that it would not hurt to buy some bright accessories to complement the clothes.

Britain-based fashion label Luella has reportedly stopped trading after the company’s sudden closure last month due to the financial crisis.

According to reports, the company owned by British fashion designer Luella Bartley stopped trading after the producer of its ready to wear line which included clothing as well as undergarments such as lingerie stopped its operations and the company’s main investor stopped sending in the money. This development was reported by Reuters.

The fashion line has garnered popularity through the years since popular model Kate Moss and singer Lily Allen have been seen wearing the line in numerous occasions, thus boosting sales.

Bartley won the Designer of the Year award in the prestigious British Fashion Awards last year.

In a statement, Bartley said that she was extremely disappointed with the outcome of her 10-year old company but added that she has a lot of options open for the future and will announce her decision in the coming months.

Retailer J.C. Penney is reportedly launching an edgier junior’s fashion brand this week. This line came from celebrity designers Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, currently based in Manhattan, New York.

Penney recently opened a store in Manhattan and is attempting to attract the teenage market by coming up with trendy lines for the past couple of years. Officials from the retail store are optimistic that the teenagers who grew up following the career of the 23-year old twins will patronize the product. The Olsen twins have made a mark on television as former child movie and television stars.

The twins currently have apparel lines that are doing well in the market, Elizabeth and James and The Row. These products are mostly sold in high-end stores. The apparel deal the twins signed with retail giant WalMart ended in 2006.

The soft launch of the products will take place on November 6 but will make a full launch blast by February next year.
