Film critics have no choice but to become fashion critics themselves as they watched the movie “Sex and the City 2” for reviews. The British press could not help but comment on the clothing worn by the film stars as two and a half hour long film was played.
Notable critics in the US are being careful about noticing the fashion statements of the stars, admitting that they don’t have much knowledge about the business. However, the British media could not help but notice the overly dressed stars in moments that only need simply clothes and not fashion clothes.
One critique said that there was a scene on the film where Sarah Jessica Parker’s role was watching a film with her husband on her evening gown. She added that the stars were seemingly overdressed in most occasions – trying to keep up with the film’s reputation as a fashion trendsetter.
