Princess Diana’s iconic dress up for grabs

A few before she got engaged, then 19-year old Lady Diana Spencer was photographed wearing a black gown with a plunging neckline. This image made its way to the media and catapulted her to fame.
The dress is now up for grabs via an auction which will take place on June 8 at La Galleria in Pall Mall in London.
Princess Diana wore the dress at a black-tie charity event at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in the City nearly thirty years ago.
The outfit is said to be the most interesting designer clothes which was created by ex-couple Elizabeth and David Emanuel. David Emanuel was also the one who designed the wedding dress.
The iconic outfit is expected to sell for 50,000 pounds. Several Princess Diana items designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel are also up for sale. Kerry Taylor Auctions will spearhead the auction.
