Gaultier fashion show takes place in Russian station
The Kazansky Station in Moscow became a destination for the celebrities on a Friday night as world-renowned fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier staged a fashion show in the area.
In an interview, the designer said that it has been one of his major plans to stage a fashion show in a train station. He immediately accepted the opportunity to stage one at Kazansky when it was offered. The event took place to officially open the Chereshnevy Les arts festival.
He said that train stations symbolize travelling and his collections does match that symbolism because they are mostly used for all kinds of travel.
Local celebrities and models were featured in the fashion show. Gaultier said that he’s impressed with how the Russians dress and that he said he saw a lot of changes in the past five years. The last time he came to Moscow was five years ago.
